History

September 1937 Founded Azuma Iron Works at Ikuno-ku in Osaka-shi.
February 1944 Left due to compulsory evacuation.
May 1946 Restarted Azuma Iron Works at Yokouchi, Ochi-cho, Okawa-Gun in Kagawa.
January 1950 Founded TOKO Iron Works CO., Ltd. at Nishimura Ochi-cho, Okawa-Gun in Kagawa.
October 1960 Purchased headquarter factory site and built new factory according to the first rationalization plan. Started manufacturing machine tool.
April 1964 Started manufacturing high-speed cutter.
May 1965 Developed automatic hydraulic cutter and started selling.
May 1968 Additionally built headquarter factory according to the second rationalization plan. Started manufacturing hydraulic clicker TCM-500.
May 1970 Completed new type composite planar L15 type and L21 type. Newly built second factory at Yokouchi, Ochi-cho, Okawa-Gun in Kagawa Prefecture. Established full production system of planar and others.
July 1973 Prepared factory integrating plan according to ten years plan.
Purchased site (9,000m2) adjacent to second factory.
March 1974 Newly built employees housing.
January 1982 Relocated and integrated headquarter to second factory site according to third rationalization plan.
October 1982 Completed headquarter new building, new factory and welfare building.
October 1983 Opened Tokyo Sales Office.
January 1984 Started selling one-way PSP tray automatic hydraulic cutter and compact clicker.
February 1985 Completed half-cut hydraulic series new products and started selling.
May 1987 Changed corporate name to TOKO CO., Ltd.
April 1989 Purchased adjacent site and newly installed factory according to fourth rationalization plan. Additionally installed 3 large scale machining centers and NC lathe with robot for production facility.
Changed Tokyo Sales Office to Tokyo Branch of TOKO CO., Ltd.
March 1990 Started selling Hayabusa-kun "Ultra high speed cutter" and Tonbo-kun "Automatic hydraulic cutter with visual sensor".
January 1991 Started selling PSP tray vacuum forming machine "Thoroughbred".
June Completed new assembly factory
February 1992 Started selling automatic hydraulic cutter with vacuum box take-out device.
1993 Started selling thermal compressed air plate forming machine, compressed air vacuum forming machine, blister forming machine, tray automatic wrapping machine and chipper.
May 1996 50th year anniversary since foundation.
June 1998 Introduced large scale machining center.
